Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

The SFMA is a clinical assessment for those who experience pain. It is a movement based diagnostic system that systematically finds the cause of pain by logically breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns in a structured, repeatable assessment. SFMA is the first organized system that takes into account altered motor control – the inability to coordinate proper movements. This system allows practitioners to identify the correct problems – mobility versus motor control – for a successful outcome. SFMA uses the neurodevelopmental perspective – the way we learn to move as infants – to create a system to reteach our brains how to communicate with our bodies.

American College of Sports Medicine

They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)

TPI Medical Certification gives clinicians golf-specific injury assessment and rehabilitation techniques to get players back in the game. TPI has spent almost two decades studying one thing – the Body-Swing Connection™. There are injuries associated with the golf swing that few understand better than TPI. Medical Certification looks at how these injuries develop, how to access and treat injuries and how specific physical limitations can be addressed to improve performance.

Kinesio Taping Association International

The Kinesio Taping® Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. Kinesiotaping also provides extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting. It can be used to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and other medical conditions.

ConnecTX

ConnecTX is only instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) system utilizing evidence-based, research-reflective data to achieve continuous clinical improvement via NIH’s PROMIS®(National Institute of Health’s Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System).

Graston Technique®(GT)

GT therapy is a soft-tissue instrument assisted mobilization technique. The technique and instruments enable the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions during rehabilitation. The technique allows for faster rehabilitation and greater success when the goal is restoring range of motion, eliminating pain, and restoring normal function.
