Manipulation / Mobilization Methods

Manipulation: doctor administered procedure in which pressure of varying speed and force is applied to spinal joints that are causing dysfunction and related pain.

Diversified

A manipulation technique characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust with an objective of restoring proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.

NIMMO

A receptor-tonus technique with a systematic approach of applying pressure to soft tissue trigger points. The trigger points are targeted to reduce their impact on the nervous system caused by the hypermyotonia they produce in the skeletal system.

ConnecTX

ConnecTX is the only instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) system utilizing evidence-based, research-reflective data to achieve continuous clinical improvement via NIH’s PROMIS® (National Institute of Health’s Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System). Emollient is applied to the effected area followed by the precise application of a double-beveled edge instrument to problematic soft tissue.

Flexion/Distraction

A gentle, non-force technique utilized to decompress the spine by applying gentle stretching or traction to the lower spine. The technique is applied on a special table that has moving parts to effectively separate the different parts of the spine. The combination of this special adjustment table and very gentle pressure utilizes flexion-distraction and decompression to increase the disc height between vertebrae, decompressing the spinal column and restoring the spinal joints to their proper alignment and range of motion.
